Anti-Inflammatory Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple, cored and chopped (leave the skin on for extra fiber)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients. Core and chop the apple. Measure out the spices, chia seeds, and honey (if using).
  2. Blend. Add apple, almond milk, Greek yogurt, frozen banana, cinnamon, turmeric powder, ground ginger, chia seeds, and honey to the blender. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a colder smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
  3. Serve. Pour the smoothie into a glass. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for garnish, if desired. Enjoy immediately for the best taste and nutritional benefits.
